Delaware Lands Amazon

Delaware has landed a $90 million, 1 million square foot order center from Amazon. Delaware put together an economic development incentive package with $7.5 million in incentives: $3.5 million from the state strategic fund and a grant of $4 million, from the state new jobs infrastructure fund, which will help pay for road extension and traffic-flow improvements, as well as access to other property for future economic development.  In addition, the town of Middleton granted a 10-year property tax abatement for Amazon.
