Colorado Property Tax Exemption
Effective 91 days
after adjournment of the 2012 session, a county personal property tax credit will
be given to taxpayers who establish a new business facility. The credit will offset the amount of the
taxes levied by the county on the taxable personal property located at or
within the new business facility and used in connection with the operation of
the new business facility for the current property tax year. Previously, the
credit was limited to 50% of the amount of taxes levied.
