Conservation Tax Credit Colorado
Transferees of conservation easement tax credits are
considered “taxpayers” and are subject to deficiencies, interest and penalties
if they are disallowed the credits claimed. The donors of the conservation
easements sold the credits to transferees who claimed the credits on their
state income tax returns.
