Delaware Proposing Tax Credit for Hiring Veterans
In his weekly address, Delaware Governor Jack Markell
announced that he had joined with a group of legislators in order to introduce
the Veterans Opportunity Tax Credit, a credit intended to provide businesses
with an incentive to hire veterans. As proposed, the tax credit would last up
to three years and be worth up to $4,500 per veteran hired.
