Obama Proposes Tax Credit for Energy Efficient Vehicles

President Obama proposed today several changes and increases in the current tax credit for electric vehicles, such as expanding eligibility to new technologies, in an effort to advance his “all-of-the-above” energy strategy.  The President is proposing to improve the current tax credit for electric vehicles by expanding the eligibility for the credit to a broader range of technologies, and to increase the credit from $7,500 scalable up to $10,000.
